From 4 to 6 April, the Estate celebrates the arrival of spring with France’s largest Easter egg hunt. This unmissable event has become a favourite for families, who gather in the heart of an exceptional green setting to share a joyful and delicious moment together.

For this new edition, the event invites visitors of all ages to step into the whimsical world of Alice in the Land of the Exceptional. Tea Time–inspired décor, refined porcelain, mischievous animals and a poetic atmosphere will create an elegant and subtly fantastical setting. For the occasion, the Grand Salon will be completely transformed to offer a fully immersive experience.

Five major egg hunts have been designed so that each generation can enjoy its own adventure: The Lost Key, Great and Little Wonders, The Queen of Hearts, The White Rabbit’s Burrow, and The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Families will progress together along a route accessible to all. In one of the hunts, roles will even be reversed: adults will become the egg hunters, encouraged by the delighted cheers of children.

Throughout the day, actors will bring the story’s iconic characters to life, adding humour and surprises along the way. The most attentive visitors may also try to find the golden squirrel hidden somewhere in the gardens. At every chime of the château bell, a new squirrel will be concealed, giving lucky finders the chance to win a special treat from the chocolatier Leonidas.

A special highlight on Saturday 4 April: a Leonidas master chocolatier will present delicious demonstrations, accompanied by complimentary tastings for visitors.

Alongside the egg hunts, many activities will be available for families: face painting, creative workshops, giant wooden games, miniature sailing boats on the ponds, farm animals and pony rides. Visitors will also be able to explore the château, hire period costumes, and climb to the dome (from 1.35 m in height) to enjoy a panoramic view of the estate.

Online booking required.
From 10.00 am to 5.30 pm (activities end at 6.00 pm).

A magical springtime event to enjoy with the whole family.
