To help you make the most of your day, here are the essential details:
- Access to the estate from 10.30 a.m.
- Easter egg hunts and activities running continuously throughout the day
- Duration of the garden trail: approximately 1.5 hours
- Last entry at the ticket office: 5.30 p.m.
- End of activities: 6.30 p.m.
- For “Château & Gardens” tickets, the time indicated corresponds to your château visit timeslot

Trail for all ages
To ensure every child enjoys the experience, two egg hunt trails are available:
- A trail for children aged 0–5
- A trail for ages 6–17
To prepare for your visit, we recommend downloading the activity booklet, which includes all the details and will guide you throughout the day.
Plan your visit
A variety of food options are available throughout the day, whether you’re looking for lunch, a sweet treat, or a relaxing break.
To make your journey easier, a daily shuttle service runs between Melun train station and the estate.
Melun station is easily accessible from Paris Gare de Lyon via the R line. Once you arrive, the shuttle will take you directly to the château.
The Great Easter Egg Hunt takes place mainly outdoors, in the garden.
We recommend wearing:
- Comfortable clothing
- Suitable walking shoes
- Weather-appropriate attire
Please note that re-entry is not permitted once you leave the estate.
