Hours and admission

Find the opening dates and hours of Vaux-le-Vicomte:

Due to a private event, the château will close at 2pm on Friday 4 October. The estate will be closed on Saturday 5 October ( More information).

From 16th March to 2nd November, the estate will be open every day* from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm (last entry at the ticket booths).

Except during Candlelit Saturdays (every Saturday from 1st June to 28th September) and the Big costumed Evening (Saturday, May 25): from 11:00 am to 9:30 pm (last entry at the ticket booths).

The Great Christmas:

From 16th November to 5th January (closed on 12/25 and 01/01), the estate will be open from Wednesday to Sunday from 16th November to 20th December, then every day during school holidays from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm (last entry at the ticket booths).

Useful information:

The reservation is required on our online ticketing for all of our events (Vaux-le-Vicomte in celebration), no purchase can be made on site. Please print your tickets before your arrival.
You can change the date of your ticket*, directly on your online account. The exchange is possible between two tickets of equivalent prices, until the day before your visit, and according to availability.
