The Great Easter Egg Hunt – event closed

France’s largest Easter egg hunt in the heart of the 33 hectares of French gardens. Equipped with a parchment, both young and old will embark on an egg hunt. The program includes several huntsfor every age group, on the theme of nature! Each visitor will leave with a chocolate booty. Additional activities will also be offered: face painting for children, carriage rides, and creative workshops.

Vaux-le-Vicomte invites its visitors to rediscover this 17th-century masterpiece in the flickering light of two thousand candles, illuminating the castle and French gardens. A romantic and refined dinner, water games in the basins, and champagne bar complete this delightful timeless evening. A monumental projection recalling the highlights of Vaux-le-Vicomte’s history will conclude the evening. Every Saturday, as well as Fridays in July and August.

The Underground adventure, River of underworld
Presenting an exceptional adventure on the underground river which was diverted by Le Nôtre in 1654 during the creation of the French gardens, this specially designed trip is fun and interactive, and draws on La Fontaine’s text « The love of Cupid and Psyche ».
