Children from a young age are sensitive to stories and thrilling environments. Vaux-le-Vicomte offers a number of activities for young learners to stimulate their imagination using familiar concepts: animals, fairy tales, costumes and games. Primary school pupils are introduced to art, literature and philosophy in a setting which makes history come alive.
Educational benefits
Specially designed workshops link learning with a child’s natural curiosity, engaging the youngest children with the 17th century in a fun and imaginative manner.
Workshops for primary school pupils enhance the national History, French and Art curricula (Cycle 3) by covering the life of Louis XIV, the absolute monarchy, and famous writers of the era.
